Job Summary

The Account Executive, ES is responsible for driving sales revenue and overall market share within a designated regional territory. This role requires strong interpersonal skills to develop solid customer relationships and a thorough understanding of competitive products and positioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate sales revenue and increase market share within the regional territory.
  • Pursue new business opportunities and develop strategies to attain business goals.
  • Implement business plans to achieve a 10% annual increase in market share.
  • Direct clinical demonstrations for qualified target accounts and pursue business opportunities.
  • Work with the Clinical Sales Specialist to coordinate pre-demonstration processes.
  • Nurture current customer accounts through routine calls, product demonstrations, and in-service training.
  • Develop relationships with physicians, nurses, technicians, and hospital administration.
  • Provide training and support for customers on equipment use and maintenance.
  • Support VIP customers as directed by direct supervisor or Executive Management.
  • Collaborate with the Product Development team on clinical evaluations of new products and improvements.
  • Provide regular reports to direct supervisor on sales performance and customer data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related quantitative disciplines.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of field sales experience.
  • Ability to work independently and take charge of situations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and email applications.
  • Ability to manage time and regional budget requirements.
  • Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for 75-100% of work time.
  • Ability to use hands and fingers to feel and manipulate items, including keyboards.
  • Ability to stand, talk, and hear for 75% of work time.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 25-50 pounds.

Travel Requirements

  • Ability to travel 75% of time, including overnight travel up to 50%.
