Our client, a leading manufacturer in their niche field, is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Chemist to join their Research and Development team. This exciting opportunity will see you play a key role in optimising current products, processes, and manufacturing techniques, while also contributing to the development of new products and solutions.

The Role:

  1. Provide technical support to the Operations department, including assistance with specialist coating processes and plant, process improvement, and technical production problems.
  2. Work on opportunities identified by other areas of the business to research and develop new products, leveraging your expertise in chemical sciences to drive practical outcomes.

What We're Looking For:

  1. A degree-educated background in chemistry and/or material science, with some years of experience in a commercial setting.
  2. Proven experience in chemical sciences, with the ability to apply your knowledge for practical outcomes.
  3. Flexibility and resourcefulness in approach, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  4. Experience of fertilisers or related fields is desirable, but not essential.

This is a site-based role (40 hours) commutable from Wincanton, Yeovil, Shaftesbury, Shepton Mallet, Dorchester, Blandford Forum, Salisbury, Weymouth, and may suit a candidate with previous laboratory experience.
