Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV driver to join our team at DPD Group UK. As a 7.5 Tonne Collections and Delivery Driver, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the timely delivery of parcels to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and deliver parcels to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer queries
  • Load and unload parcels from vehicles, using manual handling equipment as required
  • Conduct pre-use checks on vehicles and report any defects or issues
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • Valid C1 licence, DQC and CPC accreditation
  • 12 months experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift, load and carry heavy items
