We are seeking a highly skilled Community Therapy Specialist to join our team at NHS National Services Scotland. As a key member of our Community Therapy team, you will play a vital role in enhancing our Unscheduled Care pathways and providing therapy cover over weekends.

About the Role: This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals who share your passion for delivering exceptional patient care. As a Community Therapy Specialist, you will be responsible for supervising physiotherapists, assistant practitioners, clinical support workers, and physiotherapy students, ensuring they deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To supervise and mentor physiotherapists, assistant practitioners, clinical support workers, and physiotherapy students to ensure they deliver high-quality patient care.
  • To develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for various professionals and carers, focusing on understanding therapy processes and interventions for managing patients' medical and social needs.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in supervising teams of healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to diverse audiences, including professionals and carers.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering patient-centered care.

Salary: £54,907 per annum. Our salaries reflect the new working hours and are adjusted pro rata for part-time staff. You may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period, for which you would be paid.
