As an Autism Support Worker, you will play a key role in leading and supporting a team of support workers to deliver high-quality care and support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Providing support and care to service users with Autism and Learning difficulties
- Coordinating and allocating work tasks, ensuring that support is delivered effectively and in line with individual care plans
- Providing hands-on support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs
- Undertaking assessments and reviews of individual care plans
- Liaising with families, carers, and external professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to care
- Monitoring and reporting on the progress and well-being of clients
- Supporting with staff training, development, and supervision
- Previous experience working in a similar role within the social care sector
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
- Experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care
