NES Fircroft is seeking a Technical Manager to lead our technical team at one of our major UK sites. As a key leader, you will drive technical excellence for high-hazard assets and ensure Basis of Safety compliance.
About the Role:
This management level position is pivotal to our operations, overseeing a team of experienced process engineers and ensuring world-class SHE standards. You will direct technical improvements, manage projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Technical Leadership: Direct the site's technical team to ensure effective implementation of technical improvements.
- Manage Team & Projects: Oversee a team of experienced process engineers, driving operational and technical advancements to meet business objectives.
- Act as PE Design Authority: Ensure all process engineering work adheres to legislation and internal standards.
- Collaborate Across Stakeholders: Work with cross-functional teams, regulatory authorities, and external stakeholders to influence decision-making.
Working Conditions:
The ideal candidate will have experience working on-site, with a strong background in process engineering and leadership. You will be based in Cheshire, UK, working 5 days/week. This contract role offers an estimated salary of £85,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience, and has the possibility of on-going extensions or a permanent opportunity.
