RCH Care Homes Seeks Experienced Residential Unit Lead

Estimated Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 per annum

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Residential Unit Lead to manage and oversee two residential units at Brentwood Care Centre. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dementia care and experience in leading staff teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring excellence in resident care, providing outreach and support to families, and coordinating the resident assessment process. They will also participate in residents' review meetings with external bodies and play an active part in recruiting staff for the new units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee two residential units
  • Ensure excellence in resident care
  • Provide outreach and support to families
  • Coordinate resident assessment process
  • Participate in residents' review meetings
  • Recruit staff for new units

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (NVQ Level 4 preferred)
  • Dementia experience essential
  • At least two years' experience in long-term care for older people
  • At least one year of supervisory and management experience
  • Excellent communication and clinical skills
  • Possession of right to work in the UK
