About the Role
As a key member of our team at Barrett Steel Limited, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. Based at our Saltney site, you will be responsible for picking, loading, and unloading steel products, as well as maintaining accurate stock records.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking and loading steel products onto trucks and into storage areas
- Loading and unloading steel products from trucks and into storage areas
- Maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring all documentation is correctly actioned
- Transferring stock to its location using a forklift truck
- Assisting in the overall production and dispatch of customers' orders
- Keeping work areas clean and tidy and maintaining high levels of health and safety
- Being adaptable and flexible in approach to work to meet operational requirements
- Operating machinery (only when trained to do so)

About You
We are looking for a motivated and flexible individual who is passionate about working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will have experience as a warehouse operative, preferably in the steel industry, and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
Essential Skills
