Job Description
This role offers the opportunity to lead deterministic nuclear safety assessments for the build and commission of Dreadnought and future class submarines. As a Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for authoring nuclear safety cases, including results of deterministic and probabilistic analyses of the submarine build and commission activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications
A degree-level qualification in a relevant discipline, such as engineering or physical sciences, is essential for this role. Previous experience in safety analysis and safety case production for high-hazard industries is highly desirable. Chartered engineer status (or actively working towards this) would be an advantage.
