Senior Retirement Actuarial Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Retirement Actuarial Consultant to join our team at The Actuary Group. As a key member of our actuarial consulting team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice to clients on a wide range of retirement consulting projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead client relationships and develop strategic advice to meet their needs and exceed their expectations
  • Design and implement sophisticated pensions actuarial solutions for DB pension scheme clients
  • Drive key business relationships to identify and develop revenue-generating opportunities with new and existing clients
  • Manage multiple tasks and oversee multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing workload and ensuring timely delivery
  • Collaborate with internal resources and other critical business functions to deliver advice and add value to clients
Requirements:
  • Significant experience working with Trustees and/or Corporates on DB pensions, with a well-rounded knowledge of the broader UK pensions landscape
  • Strong technical actuarial fundamentals, coupled with demonstrable business acumen
  • Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, with experience with other actuarial/modelling tools desirable
  • Nearly/newly qualified actuary or fully qualified actuary with post-qualification experience
