Job Description

The Actuary Group is seeking a talented and ambitious pensions actuary to join our team as a Senior Retirement Actuarial Consultant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice to clients on their retirement programs, specialising in actuarial needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help clients define strategy and design retirement plans
  • Manage plan finances and meet regulatory requirements
  • Manage risk and have a direct impact on team performance and client outcomes
  • Lead client relationships as a seasoned, professional individual contributor
  • Manage projects independently and collaborate with stakeholders across the company

Requirements:

  • Significant experience working with Trustees and/or Corporates on DB pensions
  • Well-rounded knowledge of the broader UK pensions landscape
  • Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and oversee multiple projects simultaneously
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work within a team and support other business functions
  • Strong technical actuarial fundamentals coupled with demonstrable business acumen
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
