Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Academic Tutor to join our team.

About the Role:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced individual to deliver 1:1 tuition to students aged 11-18 in Maths, English, or Science. As an Academic Tutor, you will plan and develop individualized programs to cater to the diverse needs of our students, including those with SEN needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and trauma.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver 1:1 tuition sessions to students in Maths, English, or Science
  • Develop and implement individualized programs to meet the needs of students with diverse learning requirements
  • Work with students to accelerate their progression and build confidence in their academic abilities
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure a high-quality learning experience for all students

Requirements:

  • Hold a QTS/PGCE certificate or at least two years of previous teaching experience
  • Endless enthusiasm and patience
  • Experience working with primary or secondary pupils
  • Ability to engage with students quickly and accelerate their progression
