About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Tutor to join our team in Daventry and surrounding areas. As a SEN Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver tailored 1:1 tutoring sessions to students with SEMH needs, supporting their academic progress and personal development.
  • Help students to engage and encourage their active participation in the learning process.
  • Provide feedback for each session, on our bespoke learning platform LEAP.
Requirements
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is not essential, but relevant experience or qualifications in education are highly desirable.
  • Experience with working with children with challenging behaviour.
  • SEN experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust with students.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to tailor teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of individual students.
