Job Title: Credit Reference Business Analyst

Location: London, Hybrid Working (1-3 days a month on site)

Company Overview:

Lorien is a leading Pension and Investments company seeking an experienced Credit Reference Business Analyst to join their team on a brand-new project.

Job Description:

This role involves maximizing supplier relationships and driving cost efficiencies through collaboration with key stakeholders. The successful candidate will interact with management across various franchises and functions, ensuring compliance while reducing costs.

  • The ideal candidate will manage data licensing, deliver financial reporting and data analysis, and provide recommendations on Credit Reference Agency services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead contract negotiations with suppliers to secure the best market data products at competitive prices.
  • Manage contract-related risks, supplier audits, and cost transparency to maintain contractual compliance and protect business interests.
  • Provide in-depth analysis and insights into market data costs to inform budgeting and drive cost savings.
  • Collaborate with business teams to define precise requirements and act as a subject matter expert for Credit Reference Agencies.
  • Oversee third-party market data audits, identifying and remediating any data exposures to minimize penalties.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in contract negotiation, risk management, and cost optimization.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and communicate insights effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across functions.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth.
