Job Title: Senior Data Analysis Engineer

Description:

At Northern Data Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analysis Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Data Team, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure. Your focus will be on ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our data pipelines and storage solutions, which are critical for our data-driven decision-making processes.

This opportunity will enable you to work closely with both our Data Team and BI Team to develop and implement robust data solutions. You will be responsible for optimizing data flow and collection for cross-functional teams, ensuring data quality, and driving best practices in data management. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to advance their career in data engineering while working with the latest cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop end-to-end data pipelines to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability.
  2. Collaborate with Business Intelligence, analysts, and product teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
  3. Implement monitoring and alerting systems to ensure data accuracy and resolve issues proactively.
  4. Lead efforts to enhance data quality and drive automation of data processes.
  5. Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure to ensure data is readily available for analysis and reporting.
  6. Manage data transformation workflows and enable self-service data analytics for business users.

Requirements:

  1. 5+ years of experience in data engineering or data-related roles.
  2. Deep knowledge of data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Prefect) and data platforms (e.g., Excellent python knowledge.
  3. Experience with tools for data transformation and modeling (e.g., Excellent understanding of data modeling concepts.
