Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our secondary department, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN). As a key member of our tutor team, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

About the Role:
  • Support pupils with SEN in a secondary school setting
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery
  • Provide one-to-one support and small group instruction to pupils
  • Contribute to the development of a bespoke curriculum for vulnerable and hard-to-reach children
Requirements:
  • Highly skilled communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage pupils with complex needs and behaviors
  • Experience of working with pupils with SEN in a secondary school setting
  • Strong understanding of the benefits of a personalized curriculum for vulnerable children
  • Ability to reflect on own practice and contribute to the development of the school's policies and procedures
