Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced MEICA Commissioning Engineer to join our team in the Southwest Water region. This role offers long-term work, flexible working patterns, and covered travel expenses.

  1. Lead the commissioning of Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation (MEICA) systems for water infrastructure projects.
  2. Conduct on-site inspections and testing of MEICA systems to ensure they meet design specifications and operational requirements.
  3. Collaborate with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure smooth and efficient commissioning processes.
  4. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards throughout the commissioning phase.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during commissioning to minimize delays and ensure project success.
  6. Prepare and review commissioning documentation, including test plans, reports, and handover documents.
  7. Liaise with clients and stakeholders to provide updates and ensure their commissioning requirements are met.
  8. Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for equipment installation and commissioning.
  9. Provide technical guidance and support to site teams during the commissioning process.
  10. Ensure all commissioning activities are completed on time and within budget.
Essential Skills and Experience:
  1. Extensive experience in MEICA commissioning within the water or wastewater industry.
  2. Strong technical knowledge of MEICA systems, including installation and testing procedures.
  3. Proven ability to manage and lead commissioning activities for large-scale infrastructure projects.
  4. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  5. Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., degree in mechanical engineering).
  6. Flexibility to travel within the Southwest Water region as required.
