Job Title: MEICA Commissioning Specialist

We are seeking an experienced MEICA Commissioning Specialist to join our team in the Southwest Water region. This role offers long-term work, flexible working patterns, and covered travel expenses.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Lead the commissioning of Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation (MEICA) systems for water infrastructure projects.
  • Conduct on-site inspections and testing of MEICA systems to ensure they meet design specifications and operational requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure smooth and efficient commissioning processes.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards throughout the commissioning phase.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during commissioning to minimize delays and ensure project success.
  • Prepare and review commissioning documentation, including test plans, reports, and handover documents.
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to provide updates and ensure their commissioning requirements are met.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for equipment installation and commissioning.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to site teams during the commissioning process.
  • Ensure all commissioning activities are completed on time and within budget.


Essential Skills and Experience:




  • Extensive experience in MEICA commissioning within the water or wastewater industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of MEICA systems, including installation and testing procedures.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead commissioning activities for large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND or degree in a relevant field).
  • Flexibility to travel within the Southwest Water region as required.
