About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Planning and EIA Professional to join our Environment Planning team in Glasgow. As a key member of the team, you will provide expert advice to clients on planning and environmental consenting matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality planning and EIA services to clients across various sectors;
- Provide technical advice on TCPA Planning Permissions, Section 36/Section 37 Consents, Development Consent Orders, and similar consents;
- Be involved in project lifecycles from early strategy development to detailed design and assessment, including report writing;
- Represent clients to key stakeholders, regulators, and the public;
Requirements:
- Sound knowledge and experience of the UK planning system, particularly in Scotland;
- Excellent reporting and communication skills to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team;
- Proven ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, clients, suppliers, and industry;
- An RTPI accredited undergraduate or masters degree in Town Planning;
- Working towards or having achieved Chartership with RTPI;
- Ability to travel to site and client offices as required.
