Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced project manager to join our Environmental Planning team. The role involves managing the EIA process and technical specialists on a range of projects, including onshore renewable energy developments, electricity transmission infrastructure, urban regeneration, and greenfield developments.

The successful candidate will work closely with the project director, who will act as a mentor, providing support and advice, as well as more junior members of the team. They will be responsible for delivering quality EIAs, managing multiple tasks and time, using initiative and excellent communication, report writing and numeracy skills. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word and Excel, is also required.

Educated to at least degree level in a relevant environmental degree, the ideal candidate will have experience spanning several market sectors, including energy infrastructure, and will have managed EIAs for large and complex projects. Working towards full membership/Chartered Membership of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA), Institute of Environmental Sciences (IES), Royal Town Planning institute (RTPI) or similar is also desirable.

The salary for this role is £32,500-£60,000 FTE, depending on experience.
