Job Title: Healthcare Assistant Women's Health Unit

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant to join our Women's Health Unit team at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our nursing team, you will provide high-quality care to patients, working closely with our registered nurses to ensure the best possible outcomes.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, working closely with our registered nurses to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Assist with the delivery of care, including taking vital signs, administering medications, and providing emotional support to patients.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues, using clear and concise language to ensure that everyone is informed and involved in the care process.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team, supporting our registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a clean, safe, and welcoming environment, adhering to infection control and health and safety policies.
Requirements
  • GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths, or equivalent.
  • Experience of working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a nursing team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
