Job Description: We are seeking a skilled accounts clerk to join our team at a respected solicitors firm in Nottingham. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with legal accounting standards.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar role, with a strong understanding of financial procedures and legal accounting principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities:
- Process client and office receipts, as well as Legal Aid and private paying client bills
- Manage purchase ledger, petty cash, and company credit card accounts
- Conduct regular audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance
Requirements:
- Experience working in a similar role
- Strong understanding of financial procedures and legal accounting principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Estimated Salary: £25-28k per annum
