Job Description: We are seeking an Advanced Cardiology Scientist to join our team at Somerset NHS Foundation Trust. About the Position: This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires expertise in echocardiography, including transoesophageal, stress, contrast, 3D, paediatric, and congenital echo. The post holder will provide specialist advice, supervision, and training to medical staff and students on equipment use and procedure technique. They will also be responsible for reviewing and developing the diagnostic and pacing service, ensuring it meets the needs of patients and stakeholders.

Essential Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need a degree in Clinical Physiology (cardiology) or MSc Clinical Science (cardiac science), BSE Accreditation, and HCPC registration as a clinical scientist or clinical physiologist. You should have a minimum of 2 years' experience in echocardiography, with expertise in performing varied and accurate basic and advanced echocardiography tests.

Salary: The estimated annual salary for this position is £52,000 - £66,000, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including flexible working, pension contributions, and annual leave allowance.
