Cardiac Physiologist Lead

Role Summary: We are seeking a Cardiac Physiologist Lead to join our team at Somerset NHS Foundation Trust. As a leading provider of cardiology services, we offer a unique opportunity for an experienced cardiac physiologist to lead the delivery of safe, effective, and efficient care.

About the Job: This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires expertise in echocardiography, including transoesophageal, stress, contrast, 3D, paediatric, and congenital echo. The post holder will provide specialist advice, supervision, and training to medical staff and students on equipment use and procedure technique. They will also be responsible for reviewing and developing the diagnostic and pacing service, ensuring it meets the needs of patients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities: To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of echocardiography techniques and procedures, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills. You should have a minimum of 2 years' experience in echocardiography, with expertise in performing varied and accurate basic and advanced echocardiography tests.

Salary: The estimated annual salary for this position is £52,000 - £66,000, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including flexible working, pension contributions, and annual leave allowance.
