About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Maintenance Person to join our Hartford Care team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a high level of maintenance and caretaking services to ensure our homes and grounds are well-maintained and safe for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general maintenance and repairs to homes and grounds, including painting and decorating, carpentry, and plumbing.
- Ensure all maintenance work is carried out to a high standard and in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve our goals and provide excellent care to our residents.
- Develop and maintain a good understanding of our residents' needs and preferences, and work to ensure their homes are comfortable and welcoming.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
We are looking for someone with:
A compassionate and caring nature.Good level of skills and experience in carrying out general maintenance.Robust and high-quality painting and decorating experience with a keen eye for detail.Excellent communication skills.Good IT skills and knowledge (including robust skills in using apps and systems on iPads and other IT equipment).Good knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.Strong organisation and planning skills.Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.A flexible approach to working hours.Full and clean driving license.What We Offer
