Job Title: Sales and Marketing Manager for Historic Royal Palaces

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to join our team at Historic Royal Palaces. As a key member of our commercial events business, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a proactive sales and marketing strategy to maximize the commercial potential of our venues.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement a sales and marketing strategy to increase revenue and occupancy rates
* Build and maintain relationships with third-party clients and stakeholders
* Represent the venues at trade shows and exhibitions
* Collaborate with the Head of Events and Commercial Services to deliver a pro-active sales and marketing strategy
* Market, sell, and promote the venue hire offer across the Historic Royal Palaces portfolio

Requirements:

* Recent event sales experience within the Unique Venue or MICE sector
* Experience of business development and account management
* Creative thinker and solutions-focused
* Proactive and innovative, gathering ideas and content to help promote our charity
* Desire to network and grow contacts within the events industry
* Ability to work on your own initiative, flexible, and adaptable
