Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Bid Management Specialist. As a key member of our bid management team, you will play a critical role in the development and delivery of successful bids.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead and contribute to programme and estimation reviews, ensuring that bids are thoroughly prepared and meet the required standards.
  2. Liaise with clients and external stakeholders to ensure that bid requirements are met and that the bid process is smooth and efficient.
  3. Facilitate the development of win strategies, working closely with the design, estimating, and technical teams to ensure that bids are compelling and effective.
  4. Manage and coordinate tender activities, ensuring that all necessary documents are prepared and submitted on time.
  5. Work closely with the commercial team to ensure compliance with governance requirements and to identify opportunities for cost savings.

Requirements

  • Degree/HND in Civil Engineering, Commercial Management, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Planning or other related disciplines – or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent project management skills, including strong time management and organizational abilities.
  • Good design and construction methodology, planning, and commercial awareness.
  • IT literacy – MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365.
