Join Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited as a Quality Inspector and contribute to the success of our client, the Northern Ireland Housing Executive (NIHE).
About the Role:We are seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to join our team in Ballymena. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting inspections and measurements on construction sites to ensure that contract standards are met. You will work closely with the Contract Administrator/Project Manager to maintain detailed records and forward reports and measurements as required.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct inspections and measurements on construction sites to ensure compliance with statutory regulations, materials, and workmanship.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections and measurements.
- Forward reports and measurements to the Contract Administrator/Project Manager.
- Work collaboratively with the Project Delivery team to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- A degree or equivalent qualification in a Technical/Construction related discipline.
- 2 years' post-qualification experience in Construction maintenance.
- OR A BTEC Higher Certificate/Diploma or equivalent qualification in a Technical/Construction related discipline, plus 3 years' post-qualification experience in Construction maintenance.
- Exceptionally, candidates who do not meet the qualification requirement but who can demonstrate 4 years' relevant experience in Construction maintenance may also be considered.
- A competitive salary range of £23,893 - £33,945.
- The opportunity to work for a large Housing Body on an ongoing temporary contract.
- An immediate start with weekly payment via BACS transfer.
- All business mileage expenses reimbursed at 45p per mile.
- An excellent work-life balance with 37 hours per week and 35 days' annual holiday entitlement, inclusive of stats.
