Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of support workers to provide high-quality care and support to children and young people
- Develop and implement individual care plans to meet the unique needs of each young person
- Work closely with the Deputy Manager and Registered Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the home
- Provide supervision and guidance to support workers to ensure they are equipped to provide the best possible care
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure the home is compliant with OFSTED regulations
- Experience of working in a residential care setting, preferably in a leadership role
- Qualifications in childcare or a related field, such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with young people, colleagues, and external agencies
- Ability to work flexibly, including sleep-ins and on-call duties
- Full UK driving license, as the role requires travel to various locations
- A competitive hourly rate of £14.22, with opportunities for overtime and sleep-in payments
- A comprehensive induction training program, including face-to-face and online learning
- Opportunities for career development and progression, including NVQ qualifications and leadership training
- A supportive and collaborative team environment, with regular supervision and feedback
- Free onsite parking and meals provided during shifts
