About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant to support a Music Agent in our London office. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the music industry and previous experience assisting high-level booking agents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Music Agent in day-to-day administrative tasks, including show contracting, procuring ticket sales counts, and liaising with internal departments.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with artists, record labels, talent managers, tour managers, publicists, and concert promoters.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communication skills to ensure seamless interactions with clients and stakeholders.
  • Assist with show contracting, procuring ticket sales counts, and maintaining artists' show diaries.
  • Collaborate with the Music Agent to develop and implement marketing strategies, including handling artwork, collating and explaining marketing plans and summaries.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records, including promoter and business contact details, and ensure timely communication with clients and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the artist accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely payments.
  • Attend shows as required and develop business relationships with key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Previous experience assisting an Agent ideally within the Music department of a talent agency.
  • General understanding of the current music industry and the nature of a talent agency.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize a busy workload.
  • Discretion at all times, particularly when dealing with sensitive client matters.
  • Ability to develop business relationships and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
