Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Content Editor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching, writing, and producing innovative event programs for both core and single-sponsored B2B and B2C events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and write high-quality event programs for in-person, digital, and hybrid events
  • Invite and confirm speakers for events
  • Work with the FT's editorial team to ensure program quality
  • Conduct due diligence and assist in the development of new ideas for global multi-sponsored core events
  • Liaise with the sponsorship department to ensure content results
  • Liaise with the project management department to optimize event running and content delivery
  • Liaise with the marketing department to create original copy for marketing materials
  • Manage additional content related to pre- and post-event engagement
  • Assist with speaker liaison and on-the-day content, including social media output and content related to live streaming
  • Assist with post-event content, including thank you emails to speakers and event summaries
  • Liaise with FT editorial to optimize the use of video and other FT digital output to improve FT Live events

Requirements

  • At least 2 years' experience in B2B or B2C events/conference production
  • Ability to demonstrate the launch and implementation of new events and growth of existing events
  • Action-oriented with strong organizational, project management, and analytical abilities
  • Agile with the ability to quickly adapt to change and digital innovations
