Senior Content Editor, FT Live

Join our team at the Financial Times as a Senior Content Editor for FT Live, our conferences and events division. As a key member of our editorial team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality event programmes, researching and inviting speakers, and working closely with our journalists to ensure programme quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement innovative event programmes for both B2C and B2B events.
- Research and invite speakers for events, working closely with our editorial team.
- Collaborate with our sponsorship department to ensure content meets client needs.
- Liaise with our project management department to optimize event delivery.
- Work with our marketing department to create engaging content for email blasts, ads, and marketing materials.
- Manage social media content for events, including pre- and post-event engagement.
- Assist with speaker liaison and on-the-day content, including social media output and live streaming.
- Support post-event content, including thank you emails to speakers and event summaries.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years' experience in B2B or B2C events/conference production.
- Ability to launch and implement new events, and grow existing events.
- Strong organisational, project management, and analytical skills.
- Agile and able to adapt to change and digital innovations.
