About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to join our Net Zero Energy Business at AtkinsRéalis. This position will be based in the central belt of Scotland, with a flexible mixture of home-working and office collaboration time expected.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Supervising, developing, and mentoring junior engineers.
- Leading technical aspects of civil/structural engineering projects, from optioneering to detailed design.
- Pricing works and preparing technical proposals.
- Condition and structural assessment of existing structures to determine suitability for reuse.
- Design coordination across multidisciplinary teams.
- Preparing specifications/scoping documents.
What You'll Need
- Master's degree (MEng/MSc) qualified Civil or Structural Engineer.
- Chartered Engineer and a Member of ICE or IStructE is desirable.
- Strong technical background, with experience of steel and reinforced concrete design using relevant UK and international codes/standards.
