Job Overview

As a key member of the Net Zero Careers Accelerator team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality Building Management System (BMS) services to our clients. This dynamic role offers a unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen, allowing you to contribute to our company's mission of accelerating the transition to a net-zero economy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective BMS maintenance strategies to ensure optimal system performance and energy efficiency.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and maintenance activities on BMS components, identifying opportunities for system improvements and cost savings.
  • Design and configure advanced controller strategies and schematics for Trend, leveraging your expertise to enhance system efficiency and reduce energy consumption.
  • Collaborate with our Energy Management team to identify and implement energy optimization projects, driving energy savings and carbon reduction for our clients.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to on-site Operations and Project teams, ensuring seamless execution of BMS-related tasks and projects.
  • Maintain a strong focus on Health and Safety standards across all sites, ensuring compliance and best practices.

Requirements

  • Essential: Proven experience as a BMS Engineer with a strong technical understanding of BMS and HVAC systems.
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in engineering or a related field, ideally City and Guilds or equivalent.
  • Trend Controls Expertise: Minimum 3 years' experience with Trend Controls, with proficiency in using SET or alternative Software Engineering Tools. Knowledge and experience equivalent to the Trend Expert competency level is highly desirable.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of BMS software and schematics modification, IT networks, IP configuration, and integration solutions. Experience with Metering, Open Protocol solutions, inverter drives, and PLCs, including fault finding in Motor Control Panels.
  • Business Acumen: Ability to understand and communicate the business value of energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives to clients and stakeholders.
