Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior RFIC Design Engineer to join their team on a freelance basis. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, laying out, and RFOW of RFICs, MMICs, and microwave/mmWave modules.

The Role:
  • This is an outside IR35 opportunity.
  • The contract duration is six months with the possibility of extension.
  • The engineer will be based onsite in the North-East region of the UK.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have extensive knowledge and experience in the following areas:

  • Designing GaAs & GaN based MMICs for applications spanning 1-150GHz.
  • Involvement in all aspects of the design process.
  • Proficiency in RF test, characterization, and validation of MMICs.
  • A thorough understanding of Smith charts and s-parameter measurements.
  • Experience with load-pull characterization.
Estimated Salary: £90,000 - £110,000 per annumBenefits

This freelance position offers a competitive salary range based on industry standards for similar roles in the North-East UK location.
