Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join our team at HoK Consulting - Technical Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining the technology vision and strategy for our clients in the Financial Crime Detection space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the architectural transformation of digital solutions, applying expertise in decomposing monolithic systems and managing technical debt.
  • Translate customer journeys into technical design, leveraging API and micro-service architecture techniques.
  • Develop and maintain enterprise-level software development and API-based integration expertise, including Mulesoft and Kong.
  • Communicate effectively with business stakeholders, IT teams, peers, vendors, and client-side staff.
  • Familiarize yourself with technology concepts, roles, and terminology, and collaborate with application architects and modellers.
  • Stay up-to-date with API design and microservice architectures.
  • Participate in architecture groups and forums, presenting solution strategy and design in conversation, documentation, and presentations.

Desirable Background:

  • Consultancy or customer-facing experience in a software vendor or enterprise-scale services environment.
  • Financial Services domain knowledge, with practical experience in mobilizing technology to meet market dynamics affecting the financial services domain (Risk/Cost/Customer).
