Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Design Engineer to join our team at White Label Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing infrastructure to support and optimize production processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop factory layouts using CAD software
  • Specify and purchase capital equipment and operational equipment for maintenance and continuous improvement
  • Develop and improve operating procedures
  • Work with operations to assess continuous improvement opportunities
  • Design bespoke jigs, fixtures, and handling aids, developing their specification for procurement
  • Implement and prove out process improvements; fitting and testing prior to handover to Production
  • Work in accordance with ISO9001, 45001, and 18001

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in engineering/manufacturing
  • Must have an Engineering background
  • Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks experience
  • Strong communication skills – dealing with suppliers etc
  • Ideally a working knowledge of pipework, pumps, pneumatic & hydraulic systems
  • HNC or Degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering
  • Full UK working rights/business isn't in a position to offer sponsorship
