Due to upcoming projects and supporting continued growth, Stirling Dynamics is seeking a skilled Senior or Principal Flight Physics Engineer with a special interest in aircraft Loads and Aeroelastics.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will work within a team responsible for all aspects of aircraft structural dynamics, from model development and validation to the prediction of flutter and the computation of ground and flight loads for the whole aircraft. The role requires strong understanding of aircraft structural dynamics, loads, and aeroelastics.

Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple tasks/projects and deliver within agreed timescales and budgets
  • Deliver engineering solutions at a consistently high standard (self-checking results)
  • Follow the working practices defined in the project Quality Plan
  • Support the preparation and implementation of planning documentation including quality, technical, and budget plans for projects
  • Review the performance of team members
Requirements
  • Post-graduate qualification to a Master's degree or Doctorate in a relevant specialisation (desirable)
  • Membership of an Engineering Body (desirable)

A competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
