About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse to join our Wiltshire Nursing Team at Julia's House Dorset & Wiltshire Children's Hospices. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional care and support to children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions at our Devizes Hospice and in the children's own homes across Wiltshire.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide family-centred respite care both in the Hospice and Community for children who have life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.
  • Deliver high-quality clinical nursing care to meet the diverse individual needs of the children and young people.
  • Work in line with Julia's House policies and procedures to deliver safe care to children and young people with complex needs.
  • Role model Julia's House Values and Behaviours at all times.

Requirements

  • RSCN/RN (Child Branch) - Diploma or Degree or Registered Learning Disability Nurse or RGN or RN Adult Safeguarding Awareness Level 3.
  • Experience of working with sick children and their families Safeguarding Awareness Level 3 Understanding of equal opportunities.
  • Counselling training and/or care of the dying and bereaved course or experience.
