Job Description

Citigroup Global Markets Limited is seeking a skilled Investment Banking Senior Analyst to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the origination and execution of debt capital markets transactions for corporate and financial institution clients across Western Europe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Play a key role in the origination and execution of investment grade bonds and financing solutions for corporate and financial institution clients.
  • Be involved in idea generation and the pitching process, helping to win new business and develop Citi's franchise by building and maintaining client relationships at a junior level.
  • Be involved in transaction structuring and tailoring of appropriate solutions for corporate and financial institution clients.
  • Prepare and review presentation materials, including market updates, pricing updates, and pitch materials.
  • Manage internal processes and partner with syndicate, legal, rating advisory, corporate, and investment banking teams.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.
Requirements:
  • Relevant investment banking experience is required (ideally sector investment banking, capital markets, leveraged finance, or derivative solutions).
  • Fluent English. French, German, Spanish, or Italian speaker is strongly preferred.
  • Credit and corporate financing analytical skills.
  • Demonstrate ability to interact with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Financial modeling skills are preferred.
  • Good judgment, maturity, and poise to enable interaction at all levels.
  • Thoughtful analytical skills; able to develop, clearly present, and draw conclusions.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills; ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Energetic, self-motivated, and adaptable.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience, or higher.
