Job Description

As a Field Sales Account Representative at The Workshop, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our existing customers in the Northampton region. Your primary goal will be to increase sales and efficiency targets by developing and implementing effective sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and sustain valuable, long-term trading relationships with customers.
  • Represent and uphold The Workshop's values and brand image.
  • Achieve and surpass budget sales and efficiency targets.
  • Manage distribution, effective merchandising, and product placement.
  • Explore and implement new channels of opportunity and distribution.
  • Optimise time and resources to maximise productivity.
  • Maintain excellent communication, administration, and paperwork for all sales and promotional activities.
  • Manage appointments and timekeeping according to the agreed daily schedule.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer-facing sales environment.
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • Clear communicator with excellent relationship management skills.
  • Driven, competitive, and challenge-oriented.
  • Strong commercial awareness and integrity.
  • Flexible and adaptable, capable of working individually and within a team.
  • Proactive, solution-focused mindset.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • IT literate with strong analytical skills, especially in Microsoft Office.
