Job Opportunity

IC Resources is currently seeking a highly skilled Photonics Device Physics Engineer to join our team. This role requires a deep understanding of III-V semiconductor photonics device physics and manufacturing process, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will be responsible for yield analysis and performing detailed analysis of production data to identify yield detractors and implement corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct yield analysis and identify areas for improvement in III-V semiconductor photonics device manufacturing process
  • Develop and implement corrective actions to improve yield and quality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and improve manufacturing efficiency
  • Develop and maintain statistical process control (SPC) and 6 sigma concepts for process development
  • Conduct failure mode analysis, root cause investigation, and problem-solving for product yield and quality
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including Mandarin and English
  • Pursue a PhD degree in Physics, Optics, or related field (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or Material Science)
