Job Summary:
MicroTECH Global LTD is seeking a highly skilled Senior Photonics Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance yield and reduce variability in photonics semiconductor manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed analysis of production data to identify yield detractors and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance yield and reduce variability in photonics semiconductor manufacturing.
- Conduct electrical and physical failure analysis to determine root causes of yield loss and drive corrective actions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including process engineers, design engineers, and quality assurance, to resolve yield-related issues.
- Maintain and analyze yield data of both released products and R&D products, generating reports and presenting findings to management.
- Stay current with industry trends and integrate new technologies and methodologies to improve yield performance.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall production efficiency and product quality.
Requirements:
- PhD Degree in Physics, Optics, or related field (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or Material Science).
- Experience working with Manufacturing in such areas as: III V Photonic Devices, optical semiconductor devices, Laser, etc.
- Demonstrated failure mode analysis, root cause investigation, and problem solving for product yield and quality issue is a plus.
- Ability to work across time zones with partners and for international business travel as required to support project development, and test process deployment.
- MS Excel and or Minitab highly desirable.
- Python scripting skills and large data analysis.
