Duties and Responsibilities- Supervision & Leadership:
- Lead, motivate, and organize a team to ensure timely project delivery.
- Assign and coordinate daily tasks, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Pipe Fitting & Fabrication:
- Oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of pipe systems for various projects.
- Ensure high standards in fabrication, installation, and testing of piping systems and components.
- Risk Assessments:
- Prepare detailed risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) for projects.
- Implement safety procedures and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Material Ordering & Management:
- Manage the procurement and ordering of materials, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency.
- Maintain inventory levels and track usage to avoid project delays.
- Project Quoting:
- Provide accurate quotes for small to mid-size jobs, including labour, materials, and other resources.
- Work closely with clients to understand project requirements and ensure that estimates are in line with their expectations.
- Labour Organisation:
- Organise and manage labour resources effectively to meet project timelines and budgets.
- Ensure that all personnel are appropriately trained and equipped to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
- Apprentice Trained Pipe Fitter or Welder and Fabricator
- Experience working in Food Manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of industry safety standards and regulations.
The estimated salary for this role is £30.00 per hour.
