A supportive and inclusive care home environment is seeking an experienced Deputy Home Manager to lead and manage a team of staff in delivering high-quality care services. About the Role
The successful candidate will have proven senior experience, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with residents, families, and colleagues. Responsibilities include:
- Leading and managing a team to support the Care Home Manager
- Delivering quality care by continually assessing resident needs and developing the service to enhance quality of life
- Developing and implementing care plans that meet individual needs and preferences
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting on care delivery
- Contributing to the development of the care home's policies and procedures
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- NVQ or QCF Level 3 Health and Social or working towards, Deputy Manager or extensive experience as a senior carer or team leader
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Commitment to providing person-centered care and promoting independence
