About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Director of Research and Innovation Operations to join our team at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Research and Innovation directorate, you will play a critical role in the planning and delivery of our research and innovation activities.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operational delivery of our research and innovation activities, including the NIHR GOSH Biomedical Research Centre, Innovation, the NIHR GOSH Clinical Research Facility, Non-medical research, and Core R&I infrastructure. You will also be responsible for leading change management and process improvement programmes, and encouraging a culture of cohesive and integrated working across the directorate.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong track record in operational delivery of research projects, ideally with knowledge of working within a BRC, CRF or clinical trials setting. You will also need to have experience of leading change management and process improvement programmes, and be able to encourage a culture of cohesive and integrated working across the directorate.
