Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Resource Manager to join our team at SSEN Distribution in central southern England and the north of Scotland.

About the Role

This is a key position that requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of electricity distribution, and industry experience as a Distribution Network Operator (DNO).

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead a team of up to 25 operational industrial staff who deliver new connections, reinforcement works, and network restoration at low voltage and up to 33,000 volts.
  2. Ensure all delivery requirements are met, including guaranteed standards, regulatory reporting, and excellent customer service.
  3. Monitor performance of SHE, welfare, compliance, team capabilities, and training portfolio.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team and driving results-oriented performance while maintaining a safe and reliable supply of electricity.

Requirements
  • A minimum of £41,583 - £48,296 + car/car allowance + benefits per annum, depending on experience.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with a proven track record of delivering results.
  • Technical knowledge of electricity distribution or similar market sector.
  • Industry knowledge of how a DNO operates.
