Consultant Psychiatrist in Adult Community Thurrock West

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Adult Community Mental Health team in Thurrock West. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients with complex mental health needs.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Attending multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans
- Providing regular clinics to review patients and develop treatment plans
- Providing flexible emergency medical support to patients
- Supporting patients under the Mental Health Act and the Mental Capacity Act
- Supervising and supporting junior doctors and other healthcare professionals
- Liaising with primary care services and other healthcare providers to optimize patient care

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Full GMC registration and a license to practice
- Section 12 approval and approved clinician status
- Experience in adult community mental health services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
