Consultant Psychiatrist in Adult Community Thurrock West

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Adult Community Mental Health team in Thurrock West. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients with complex mental health needs.
Main Responsibilities- Attend multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss and support ongoing care of patients.
- Provide regular clinics to review patients via the Care Programme Approach.
- Offer flexible emergency medical support for the team's patients.
- Support patients under the Mental Health Act and the processes required under the Act.
- Supervise and support junior doctors in their training.
- Work collaboratively with primary care services to optimize patient care.
- Liaise with other services within the organization and outside to optimize patient care.

Requirements- MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
- Registration with the General Medical Council and on the Specialist Register.
- Meets Royal College of Psychiatrists criteria for appointment to the post of Consultant.
- Section 12 Approval and Approved Clinician Status.
