About the Role

We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team as a Territory Sales Executive. The ideal candidate will have a background in catering, preferably as a chef, and possess strong leadership, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth across the region by working with a portfolio of customers, including hotels, restaurants, caterers, and equipment distributors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales and sales growth across the region by working with a portfolio of customers.
  • Visit end-user customers on-site and demonstrate the equipment, showcasing its value and benefits.
  • Work closely with resellers (distributors) to deliver product training, ensure they have all the necessary information to promote the brands, and are aware of any promotions, new products, and key information.
  • Attend trade shows and exhibitions to engage with customers, promote, and demonstrate the equipment.
  • Devise and implement a sales strategy for the region to ensure all opportunities are maximized, every sales call achieves a goal, and there is a medium- to long-term plan for continued growth.
  • Maintain accurate records on the company CRM system and liaise with colleagues in product development and marketing to pass on customer feedback.
  • Stay up-to-date with the foodservice industry trends and track new openings in the region.

Requirements

  • Experience in catering, preferably as a chef, with exposure to sales beneficial but not essential.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and take an open-minded approach.
  • Independently schedule work with a focus on achieving objectives.
  • Strong territory planning skills with the ability to schedule activities into weeks, breaking the territory down into quadrants, and maintaining regular client contact.
  • Understanding of the customer landscape within the territory.
  • Flexibility to travel 80-85% of the time within the assigned territory, with occasional overnight stays.
  • Experience working with combi ovens is a plus.
  • Experience working with CRM systems is beneficial.
